I worked with the Flowglanz team to redesign and build a marketing website for City Detect, a company helping cities tackle urban challenges with custom technology. My role focused on building out pages through Framer.
Live site: citydetect.com
The Problem
City Detect needed a marketing site that clearly explained the value of their camera and software ecosystem. The previous site lacked structure and didn’t fully communicate what made the product different from typical code enforcement strategies.
The goal was to create a site that:
Clearly communicates the product value
Feels premium and company-focused
Is easy for the team to update and expand over time
My Role
I worked on both the design and implementation.
Responsibilities
Information architecture and page structure
Visual design for key marketing sections
Framer development and CMS setup
Responsive optimization for desktop and mobile
I collaborated with the Flowglanz team on brand alignment and overall direction.
Design Approach
The design focused on clarity.
Key decisions included:
Company-first layout
Instead of showing the product, we decided to focus on the company behind the product.
Clear feature breakdowns
We focused on showing the features and results of cities that use the product.
Implementation
The site was built in Framer, allowing the City Detect team to easily update content and manage pages through CMS collections.
Key implementation work included:
Building reusable section components
Creating CMS-driven content blocks
Optimizing layout and performance
Outcome
The final site provides a clearer company narrative and a more premium presentation of the brand.
The modular system also makes it easy for the team to expand the site as new features launch.
